Q: How can I recover my bootcamp partition?
Hello, I lost my bootcamp partition when I got to Mavericks. (I just upgraded to 10.10 thinking it would help but I was wrong) have notice that this has been a common problem once I entered this community and was hoping you guys could help. Bestbuy didn't help because they told me I had to format my whole drive which is short for "I honestly do not know how to help you so I'll format your laptop with a few clicks here and there and then you'll pay me $80." Nope. I know the drive is not lost and still works because I can go in and pull out files by going to Computer. Thing is that it doesn't show when I press Option during booting up. If anyone can and is willing, I ask help from the mighty Apple Gods!
I also read up on some terminal commands and thought this could help give more details.
sudo gpt -r -vv show disk0
