Music

I have an iPhone 6 ios8 16g. I am unable to play some of my music. The songs are grayed out , next to the song there is a red circle with a square in the middle. I have tried clicking on the circle nothing happens. I have tried deleting all my music and adding them back while syncing. This has not helped. Is anyone having this issue?.
