Q: How can i download Mavericks ?

Hi everyone.

I am running mountain lion (10.8.5) on both an early 2008 iMac and a more recent mac book pro.

I would like to upgrade to mavericks. But I can't find it anymore on the app store since Yosemite release.

The point is that I don't want to upgrade to Yosemite because it is still too young and I don't want to deal with all the usual youth problems of a brand new version of Mac OS X.

Could someone tell me if it is still possible to dowload Mavericks somewhere ?

Many thanks for your help.

Nope, not doable. You're out of luck. Should have gotten it the year it was available.

It seems that there could still be some hope.

It appears that Apple still sells old versions of Mac OS X from snow leopard to mountain lion in the Apple Store (not the appstore). You just have to pay 18€ and you get a special code to dowload the according OS from the Appstore. Mavericks is not sold yet, perhaps in a few days or weeks ?

    Have a nice day.

One could only hope, but so far Apple's not been forthcoming on this matter. Their decision to remove it from the App Store is ludicrous.
