I've lost in iTunes the ability to backup on this computer!😢
iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.2
Why is that? Do you know why? What kind of error are you receiving?

No error message, just filling up the screen with ads for iTunes! 😕

Why do you still use iOS 6.1.2 (popular for easy jailbreaking)??
Your actual problem about backing up your phone on your computer remaims unclear and not at all clarified by your last post about iTunes adds. Please explain in detail. Note that there is no 140 character or attention span limit for posting in this forum. ?l

iOS is max on type 4s. Problem is new iTunes filled the screen with no access to backup statistics I can backup now in Devices but I think it's iCloud only & not this computer!

What you are saying is not making any sense. Can you post a screenshot of this full screen you are seeing? All of these ads? And just to let you know, the iPhone 4S is rated for iOS8.1, so that is not the max on 4S.
Connect the phone to your computer. After a few seconds you should see a little rectangular icon that is supposed to look like an iPhone at the top of the screen. Click on it.

Your statement about iOS 8.1 doesn't make sense since the screen on iTunes clearly wouldn't update & said I had the latest version possible?
BTW, We (wife Wanda & I (Paul)) are going to upgrade to the latest version 5 iPhone. Do you have any suggestions (she is technically challenged)? I hope to merge exchange contacts between hers and mine!
