Can't Change Partition - Yosemite

So when the beta of Yosemite was first released, I made a partition on the normal "Macintosh HD" drive called "Yosemite HD" and installed the beta on that partition. After I used it for a bit on the partition and saw that things were working fine for my normal program usage, I installed it on my normal Macintosh HD drive and tried to erase the partition that I made. But, I don't have the option to delete or change the partition at all. I deleted the Yosemite HD folder and I've restarted my computer countless times and don't have the option to even select the Yosemite HD anymore. Please let me know how to get this 34 GB of data back to my disk. It annoys me more than I think it should that I don't have it and will not be able to use it.

You will have to first boot to the Recovery HD to accomplish the task. Be sure that you choose the main drive's entry in Disk Utility - the topmost entry. If you still have a problem, then you are dealing with a core storage volume that Yosemite made during installation. You should see the second partition you created that you can now remove. But you cannot do that if you are booted from it.

Well I booted to the Recovery disk and went to boot from Macintosh HD, but noticed that the Yosemite HD was not an option. So I believe that it has the core storage volume that you suggested. I still cannot change anything about the partitions as all of the options are "greyed out". I have attached screen grabs in hopes they will allow for some more clarity in the issue:
