Q: Low memory

Ok this is really a tip for people, after I updated to iOS 8 I started getting a lot of low memory warnings on my iPad air, looking at the usage suggested this should not be the case so I did the unthinkable and did a complete reset then restored from my iCloud backup, I now have a super fast iPad again and have over 9GB of space again. I have no idea how or why the memory ended up so full other than to think it may be something to do with logging during updates. Hopefully this will help others who have this issue. I also want to say how impressed I am with the way the iPad restored from the backup, very smooth and has given me a lot of confidence for the future.

I would be glad to see a news report that you have about Apple having problems with their flash drives. I don't mind getting documented news on circumstances that have been verified by reporters. It's just that in my reading on the tech news out there, I've never come across any such news reports.

The reports I have seen are by individuals.

I'll guarantee you that if it's an overall problem with the iPads failing across the board like that, as a quality control problem, you're going to get that in the news. What you won't get in the news is a barely perceptable number of users (compared to the user base) who have had flash drives fail. I wouldn't worry about a few users here and there ... but a larger quality control issue would be somethimg to be concerned about and we would expect that to be written up and documented.

It's like like "bend-gate" ... LOL ... the total of nine reports to Apple out of 10 million units out there that got out on the "rumor-net" ... :-) ... I don't worry about those nine users.

Whatever you say Steve, you da man!

I used to be Apples biggest fan until they started beta testing their products on the public and adopted a "good enough" approach instead of striving to be the best.

You can have the last word now as I am done with this prattle.
