No more notification for shared calendars

I have a few shared calendars with memebers of my family (everybody usiing Macs running either Mountain Lion or Maveriks and/or iPhone/iPad running iOS 7)

We used to receive notifications when anyone added or modified an event on these shared calendars.

but since a few days, I've noticed that there is no more notification sent when an event is added, suppressed or modified on shared calendars.

We have to open Calendar to see any modification!

How can we get these notifications back???

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2008), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Same here Remy,

We have 2 Macbook Air's on latest Yosemite upgrade.

I have a shared calendar set up with my wife. When she adds, deletes, or changes events, I get a notification, as expected. When I do the same on my Mac, she gets absolutely no notification on her Mac. All the updates and changes are propagated to all devices, but it happens silently and she doesn't get notified.

I hope this is a settings problem. Can someone from Apple Support respond?
