Windows 10 work with Boot Camp 5.1?

• Windows Vista: Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate, Service Pack 1 or later (Boot Camp 3)
• Windows 7: Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate (Boot Camp 4 or 5.1)
• Windows 8: Windows 8 or 8.1, Windows 8 or 8.1 Pro (Boot Camp 5.1 only)

There are no drivers for 10, 8.1 is the highest supported version currently.

bootcamp need working drivers or you will get cashes all the time

if you wish win10 then run it in a virtual machine like virtualbox from oracle it's free

Has anyone by chance tried:

Clone OS X to external drive (USB3, or Thunderbolt)

Install Windows 10 TP using the entire boot drive sans Apple

No Apple drivers and only what TP 10 includes.

If it doesn't work, just nuke it and restore Yosemite etc like normal.

If you do have Thunderbolt, Windows can run from there but not be installed, so clone Windows over to TB storage (swap places)

And if you want, attach VMware Fusion (I trust or like it and have seen reports of issues with combo of Parallels and Yosemite, and more so with Preview 10. Then use it only in the VM - and wait for drivers, for updates to Windows 10 but you have the partition now so just leave it for later.

It took me two days to get 10 configured the way I like, gradually install the utilities I rely on - all on a PC, not my Mac Pro - and I like the way it integrates what I think is the best of 8.1 (no not an oxymoron!) and Windows 7 (have not used that in at least 4 years). Been rock solid and runs smoothly. But I would avoid some of the "big name" security suites, I stuck to what I have come to rely on over the years: SAS and MalwareBytes though I uninstalled SAS. Those suites have often not worked well with Preview builds.
