Q: I do not want my pictures to transfer to my new iphone.  Do I have to manually delete all of them?

All of my pictures on my iphone 4 are already backed up to my Mac. However there are pictures that are on my phone now, cameral roll, photo stream, and events.  I want to start with my new iphone 6, completely clear of all pictures and videos.  How can I sync (restore) my iphone 4 to iphone 6 without these pics transferring?

If you restore from backup all the photos in the Camera Roll get restored. Your last 30 days of PhotoStream photos will also be deleted.

Also if you synced photos to the iPod those will also be restored if you made the backup with them on the iPod AND the photos are still in the syncing folder you used for syncing.

Thus they have to deleted or unsynced
