Just purchased the Air 2 together with the Logitech Type + keyboard and case at Apple store. The case does not appear to be compatible with the new Air 2. The camera hole cutout on the case is misaligned with the Ai 2 camera. The Air 2 Bluetooth does not recognize the keyboard. what is up with that? Am heading back to the Apple store to get a refund. Both Apple and Logitech sites say it is for the Air 2.
I have exactly the same problem - I cannot get the Type + keyboard to connect via Bluetooth to my brand New iPad Air 2 which I bought yesterday. Now reading your comment and checking the camera position I also agree with your comments re that not being lined up - back to Brighton apple store tomorrow!! I also had a problem that the iPad was charged at 92% and then said 'not charging' - I read that other have had a problem with this as well - but mine did later come up as 98% and then 100% charged even though the screen said not charging!!
Final problem I have is that I cannot use my Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet on my iPad because areas on the spreadsheet are locked so it just comes up as 'read only' - again I see other are also really annoyed about this problem that Microsoft need to sort out rapidly.

I Purchased the Logitech Type+ keyboard today followed the only instructions included no light on keyboard. Decided maybe should be charged around 90 mins later solid green not blinking. Disconnect set up iPad Air o green light no blue light hmmm. Maybe throwing it against the wall will help. Returning it to Apple tomorrow
I had the same problem. It took me a minute to realize I had the wrong logitech for my ipad2. I ordered mine on line from apple, so I called the apple store near me and exchanged my logitech for the right one. They cost the same so it was an even exchange. The logitech for my ipad2 linked right up. Hope this was helpful.
You have the wrong logitech. Go to the apple store and they will exchange it for the one you need for the ipad2. They cost the same it will be an even exchange
