Q: forgot my old apple id password and cant restore

Hi Shaniqwa,

     First thing I would suggest is trying to contact your email provider and trying to gain access that way, if its like gmail, yahoo etc.  They have procedures to get you back into your email.

If you forgot your Apple ID password

I'm sorry to hear that.  But don't give up, If you're still having problems with signing in, contact hotmails customer support.  They will look for another way.  Because of the protection given to your personal information this will be the first route.

As long as you can prove to their satisfaction that the iPhone is genuinely yours and you have owned from new

then call the Number from this list relevant to your country and they may help you

Just to be clear you have tried this?:

1. Sign out of your old ID

2. Reboot

3. Sign in with your new ID

Settings>Store>Apple ID

What device are you using? and version?

have you logged out in settings->iCloud with the old appleID ?
