How to have a text word fall and shatter into individual letters

Hi, I have FCP 7 (motion too) and I would like to have a word fall from the top of the scene and break into individual letters when it hits the "ground" (for a movie intro). Any ideas?

Keyframe it in Motion. Once you get the hang it, you can get what you want pretty quickly.
