Q: Energy Saver Preferences Not Working in Yosemite

A few days after upgrading to Yosemite, my iMac's energy saver preferences for display sleep and computer sleep no longer work...my display stays on all the time.  Suggestions?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Launch the built-in Activity Monitor application and select the Energy tab. Select

              View â–¹ All Processes

from the menu bar, if it's not already selected. Also select

View â–¹ Columns â–¹ Power Assertion

Click the heading of the Preventing Sleep column to sort the process table. Which processes, if any, show Yes in that column?

I've done what you said and addressbooksourcesync is listed as YES.  Do you know how I can change this so the computer will sleep again?  Thanks for your help.

I can't see your screenshot because the forum software, as usual, isn't working. Click in the process table and press the key combination command-A to select the whole table. Copy it to the Clipboard by pressing command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

Yes, the column right before manifestation...and the one to the left of that is "app nap".
