Oct 28, 2014 1:46 PM in response to macc2014by Star Traveler,Backups are made easy with your iCloud Backup. It does it every day. You don't even have to think about it to have that done. It's just done automatically. Here are some links about backups. You'll note information about the iTunes backup. You can do those every two or three weeks, as they are a more complete backup.

Oct 28, 2014 1:52 PM in response to macc2014by bobseufert,I restored from my iCloud backup afte a failed IOS 8 attempt and got all my data and photos back. I even rgained 6GB of memory in the the process. It helped that I prepared before doing the original IOS 8 update.
