Error 9006

So I have been trying to Download new videos (tv shows episode) and I'm not able to download them.
I already erased the files in the "download" folder.. but it doesnt work neither. How do you FIX error 9006?

Does anyone know how to fix this problem please?

It's kind of annoying when you TRUST i-tunes and you can't watch your favorite show becasue of an error that I-tunes don't try to fix it or give info to the costumers about it.

I believe this error refers to "interference" in your
computer's connection to the Store...in the form of
firewall settings, antivirus , "filtering" and/or
"accelerator" software that may be installed on your
computer.
isabling these may provide the answer.

Actually, I've had the same error 9006 misfortune and it appears to be more of a timing out issue. You can eventually get one whole episode of something in 4-6 hours. The firewall issue comes with the error code 3256, I believe.

The first time the 9006 happened was with Season 2 of '24.' When I contacted Apple via email the response I received is that the issue is being investigated and not to attempt the title again for another two weeks.

During all the emailing back and forth I was able to download music, a music video and some trailers without difficulty so I thought it was just the particular season of the particular show. But last night I tried to download the first ep of the new season of Law and Order CI. Error 9006. I was totally surprised.

Another email to Apple and this time --even with my download queue cleared by Apple and the ep replaced-- it's been a 5 hour download so far of a 40 some odd minute ep with Error 9006 interruptions at least 3 times. I've just clicked the stopped circle arrow and recontinued the download. I'm hoping like anything it is some kind of hold over from the previous prob and won't happen again once I've shutdown for a night and rebooted on the morrow. Cheers!

I don't think this error is due to firewall or a configuration problem. I downloaded an episode of Lost and Battlestar G. on the same purchase as Numb3rs. None of the Numb3rs episodes ever complete. They get part of the way downloaded, then fail with this error message. Some get the within 10% of completion before they fail.

I tried to send an e-mail to Apple, that interface is broken also 🙂.
