cad card (smart card) not recognized

I am trying to use my cac card (smart card) on my MacBook (late 2008, intel) but the card is not showing up in keychain since I upgraded to Yosemite. I've already downloaded the required certificates and middleware and have been able to access the card with no issues prior to the update. Keychain shows SystemCACertificates with all the certificates, and keychain firstaid came back with no issues. When I look in System information the usb section shows my CAC reader as SCR33xx v2.0 USB SC Reader (SCM SCR3310 v2) so I know that it isn't a hardware issue. When I insert my card into the reader the light turns on but after a couple seconds the light goes out and nothing ever comes up in keychain. Any ideas of how I can fix this?

I have the same reader with a Centrify "CAC enabler".

Lots of information here: http://militarycac.com/yosemite.htm

That is the Yosemite page. There are links in the Card Reader section. You won't need any of the card reader firmware updates, and you likely don't need a driver. You will need the enabler, though. http://militarycac.com/cacenablers.htm
