Q: How do I delete items on my phone to make room for the upgrade to iOS 8.0.2?
I Have an iPhone 4S with 5GB memory. I have reset my entire phone leaving me with 4.5 space free and the remaining space being used by my calendar and events, messages, & mail. I try to manually delete the used space on the apps yet I'm unable to because there is nothing to delete. I reset my phone so there is no content on it what so ever yet my phones storage usage says these apps are using space but when I select them I'm unable to delete anything. When I open the apps they show no content to be deleted so why is my phone saying these apps are using up space?? How do I completely clear my phones storage so I can upgrade my phone software?? I'm unable to delete it manually so is there another way I can upgrade my software? Is the upgrade to iOS 8 worth the upgrade or should I stay with iOS 7??
