Upgrade OS X if you Mac will support it.
You are running 5 year old software there.
Upgrade OS X if you Mac will support it.
You are running 5 year old software there.
Now how do I do this and where do I go to get upgade ?
If you Mac will support newer versions of OS X then you need to purchase from Apple the Snow Leopard install DVD.
Once you upgrade to that then you update to OS X 10.6.8 which will give you the App Store
The App[ Store can used to upgrade to newer version of OS X up to Yosemite 10.10
The first thing you want to do is to backup everything.
We need more info about your Mac to see if it will even be capable,
So we know more about it...
At the Apple Icon at top left>About this Mac, then click on More Info, then click on Hardware> and report this upto but not including the Serial#...

You'll need to buy SL/10.6 first & get it to 10.6.8, then get a higher version if you wish...

Hi, I am having the same issue I think. I have OS X 10.5.8 and Safari 5...I am trying to go onto the disneyland.com/passes to renew my daughters disney pass, but it won't support the site...I get an apology message: you need to update to safari 6.0 because your safari does not support this site.
I tried to go to software update, but says all software is updated..no new software. The following is my hardware overview. Can you make suggestions as to what I should upgrade to bring me up to date?
