Q: can my family have different apple id's but share content

Nov 3, 2014 5:02 AMby mimann9,a slightly different question but related. I believe I understand sharing purchased apps. Can I also share non-itunes purchased music. I have a large music library that is only partly from itunes. Can I use 1 itunes application on my computer, that is tied to my entire music library, and sync multiple iPads/iPhones that are in the same sharing family but have different iTunes accounts.
