Q: I can't restore my iPod 2G

So the other day I was using my iPod when it just died on me. I plugged it in and got a response of the charging battery. battery.png I remember that when my iPod ran out of charge before the image would turn off after about 30 seconds and then about 10 minutes later actually turn on. However this didn't happen and it stayed on the image and I left it overnight and it still hadn't charged up.I tried to restore using DFU Mode but I got the error 1611 and 1604. I managed to prevent that by downloading a iOS 4.2.1 IPSW but that gave me error 1611 again and restoring to a custom made IPSW using redsn0w resulted in error 3194 (unknown error). I searched up how to prevent that from happening and it told me to add an extra field to the hosts file. C:// >> Windows >> System32 >> drivers >> etc >> hosts. This made the iPod white screen when I clicked restore (just normal restore no different IPSW's) and showed the apple logo with a loading bar under it (meaning it was restoring) however after doing that for about 3 seconds it turned off and came back with a low charge logo again, which resulted in error 3194 again. And that was because my computer couldn't read the iPod when it was on low battery, so neither could iTunes. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening? (oh yeah I managed to stop the low battery once or twice but that just resulted in the same scenario but instead it went into recovery mode when it rebooted and not the low battery sign) recovery.png
