Remote app crashes while high speed scrubbing on iOS 8.1

I know that when an application shuts down unexpectedly it is very frustrating. In this situation there are several troubleshooting steps that I would recommend, including deleting the application and re-downloading it fresh if the first few steps don’t resolve the situation.
