can't connect to the internet. have tried more than one source. i get an exclamation point in the wifi symbol

Try going through the following Apple Support Wi-Fi troubleshooting guide. I would recommend starting at the "Symptom: My Mac does not connect to the Internet" under the Troubleshooting section. Please post back your results.
The user forums are having intermittent problems with screenshots and some links not being visible when they are posted as part of a message.
