Q: Can't log onto App Store,  iMessage or FaceTime on MB Pro

Late 2013 MBP Retina upgraded to Yosemite day after it was released, Intel Core 2.6 i5 GHz, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, 8 gig and 500 Mb storage. Wireless system replaced under guarantee last week because it was no longer working.

Since it was returned to me, I am no longer able to log onto the App store - get message *Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance" - or FaceTime or iMessage, both of which kick me back to logon pane.

No problem with iTunes or iCloud or on any of my other devices - MBA running original OS X, 2 iPhone 5s and Mini iPad, all on iOS 8.1.

Am getting really frustrated. Any ideas apart from returning to Apple Store which is a 2 hour drive away?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Back up all data before proceeding.

    Step 1

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist

Right-click or control-click the line and select

Services Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)

from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and test.

*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select

              Go Go to Folder...

from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Log out, log back in, and test. If there's no improvement, continue.

    Step 2

    Reset your computer’s PRAM.

Thanks for your help. I decided to try Apple support and after about 45 minutes and consulting with their specialists, they told me to go offline, delete the whole System Configuration folder after making a copy on my desktop and reboot. This worked but I am really grateful for your suggestion.

Thank you. This solution worked and restored my access to Messages, FaceTime and the AppStore.

I have done both of the solutions offered here, but am still having the same issue.  "Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance."

I also cannot get into iCloud, Messages or add Google to my internet accounts.
