iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program Need Help

I bought my iphone 5 in October, 2012 from a local mobile shop in Muscat, Oman and it has a very poor battery life. I am not sure from where the local shop purchased it and resold to me. I checked that my phone is eligible under iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program. But I do not know where to go here in Muscat for the replacement. Please suggest.

I went to an authorized service provider in India (Kolkata) but denied to replace the battery with the reason as they could not find the part number for my device in their server.

You will need to figure out which country your iPhone was originally sold in and go there to get it replaced.

Hey guys. I'm having the same question. I got my iphone in US and currently I'm working in Japan. Could i replace my battery in Apple Store Japan?

Contact the store and see if they will help you. Generally, service of any kind for the iPhone is only available in the country of purchase.

It never hurts to ask, but expect to be told no.

LL means it was intended for sale in the U.S. You would need to get it to the U.S. to have it serviced.
