iCloud Drive Folder is Missing

Hi,

I upgraded my Mac OS to Yosemite 1 week ago, but I do not have iCloud Drive folder in Finder.

I have account (upgraded) on iCloud, iCloud Drive is enabled on my iOS device and iCloud is enabled on my Mac.

Why is it missing?

Regards,

Assaf.

The folder doesn't appear in the Home Directory. It is hidden in your user Library. Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library/Mobile Documents.

Yes Eric, sorry by my mistake.

My problem is that my Mobile Documents was empty. I've tried to restore its content from Time Machine without success.

In order to overpass this problem I decided to delete the Mobile Documents folder and then restore the whole folder from Time Machine. When you delete the Mobile Documents folder, the system, automatically, creates another new one. This new Mobile Documents folder contains a iCloud Drive folder and a folder for every App that iCloud is configured to store its data. Besides every of these folders a little cloud with a down arrow icon appears whit a message "Waiting for Downloading" when cursor points over the little cloud icon.

I suppose the system is downloading data from iCloud but this situation lasts for more than 18 hours.

It's this normal?

Thanks

Hi Eric.

No, the download didn't show any sign of progress, then I did what you suggested to me. The result is a Mobile Documents folder apparently empty but with a size of about 300 Mb.

iCloud at icloud.com and iCloud Drive at my iPhone and my iPad show the same content, 5 folders for 5 different apps.

Nevertheless there's no way to sync iCloud with my iMac.

Thanks
