Oct 31, 2014 4:34 AM in response to Barney-15Eby kyle_sewell,oh okay, what i mean by home screen is the screen you first see when you start up with and you have your dock bar at the bottom with all the icons on and that main strip at the top with the date and battery life and so on and with your background and stuff, i have two of those but the aren't acting as one if that make sense, like i can change the background on one and it won't affect the other, i haven't got my mac plugged in to anything other than the charger, just its acting like i have it plugged into another screen which i don't, does that help you?

Oct 31, 2014 2:22 PM in response to kyle_sewellby alop,Go to the upper right hand corner near the clock, you'll see an icon in the menu bar that looks like a TV with an upward facing arrow. Click that, then "Turn Display Mirroring Off"
You'll then have an extended single desktop.
