I purchased 20 GB of extra space last night for the $0.99 a month, however it still says the storage on my phone is full it won't even let me take pictures. I only have 109 pictures on my phone I barely have any apps I deleted alot of stuff to try and make room but its not working thats why I purchased the 20 GB but it is not working smh, is there anything I need to do the activate the extra space?

You cannot purchase more local storage for you phone, only additional back up storage. Go to Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage to see what's taking up all the space on your phone and what you can delete.

You are confusing icloud storage with the actual storage on your iPhone. The purchase you made was for more icloud storage which is used to store backups of your phone and some data from your phone. The actual physical storage on the phone cannot be increased and will remain at the level it was when you purchased the phone. Try resetting your phone if your available storage doesn't increase after deleting apps, videos, etc. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the buttons and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. If the reset doesn't help try a sync with itunes on your computer.
