A simple re-wrap solves the prob:

Media (drives, sticks) have to be formatted using your Macs Disk Utility to fat32 or exFat.
fat32 is the older standard, therefor very compatible, but limited to file sizes of max 4GBs (longer fullHD movies can be bigger )
exFat accepts bigger files, but isn't as versatile as fat32; e.g. Sony Playstations don't accept exFat sticks.....
