Oct 31, 2014 5:11 PM in response to MortenJamesCarlsenby Loner T,Did Bootcamp Assistant download drivers and use W7 ISO to build the USB?
Do you have a $WinPEDriver$ folder in the root of the USB?
If the USB is plugged in does it show up when Alt key is held and the machine is powering up?
Please try a SMC and PRAM reset and test - Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) and OS X Mavericks: Reset your computer’s PRAM.

Hi Loner T,
thank you for taking the time..
I would put my answer between the quotes and unquotes but this forum leaves many a wishes open....
Did Bootcamp Assistant download drivers and use W7 ISO to build the USB?
Yes
Do you have a $WinPEDriver$ folder in the root of the USB?
Yes
If the USB is plugged in does it show up when Alt key is held and the machine is powering up?
Yes and the boot commences and works -- but I cannot continue any further than first Windows Prompt. Because my input devices aren't working.
Please try a SMC and PRAM reset and test - Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) and OS X Mavericks: Reset your computer’s PRAM.
Already tried that... No change...
Any other ideas ?
Thanks !

Oct 31, 2014 6:09 PM in response to Loner Tby MortenJamesCarlsen,Yes...
I tried with the following

2) USB2 Stick
3) A second USB2 Stick
4) Internal SD Card Reader
5) USB2 Hard Drive
None would alleviate the problem....
I have been at it the past 8 hours. Tried just about anything I could think of...

Oct 31, 2014 6:29 PM in response to MortenJamesCarlsenby Loner T,Is the Windows ISO a full retail installer? I have done this on two 2013 rMBPs without any issues using a Sandisk Cruzer USB2 16GB drive without any issues?
Were the drivers automatically downloaded by BA or did you manually copy them to the USB?
Can you also post the output of
diskutil list
diskutil cs list
sudo fdisk /dev/disk0
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

The Drives were Downloaded by BA.
I also tried 3 different versions of the drives. Unfortunately no resolve.
