iOS8 keeps crashing on iPad 4 - wifi disconnects, Google keyboard is not synced - system is nowhere near as fluent as iOS 7. Anyone else experience this? Any solutions?

I have the 4th generation iPad, and I've had good results with the standard upgrade process, from doing it on the iPad, itself. But, that way is not the absolute best way to have an upgrade done. For a clean installation process, it's better to reset your iPad to its original factory condition and download a fresh and clean system. You do that with your iTunes program.

Be sure to turn off your anti-virus programs during this process, as they can interfere with this operation. Also make sure you do your backups and understand what information will be backed up and what will not, in reading the following Apple Support documents. The last document below is the one for resetting your iPad to its factory default condition.
