Q: how can i stop one of my iphones from getting texts?

My boyfriend has two activated iPhones, one is his and the other he is letting his 10yr son have. The iPhone his son has is getting all of the texts from contacts in my boyfriend's iPhone. How can he stop this without completely disabling texts all together? He still wants to be able to send texts to his son.
