Q: Payment method none - not available

I have disabled family sharing, but I still can't select none for a payment method.

iPhone 5c, iOS 8.1

Hi ..

Reset the device:

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

No data is lost due to a reset.

Hi

If you are using the iTunes Store or App Store for the first time with an existing Apple ID, you will need to provide a payment method. After you have created the account, you can change your payment information to None.

To change or remove your payment method (including the option of selecting None), follow the instructions here:
