How do I remove the border above footnotes in Pages 5?

I dislike the footnote border that is automatically placed above footnotes and endnotes (the uppermost line in the screenshot). How do I remove it?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

You can't. It is hard-coded into Pages ’09 and Pages v5.
