Jan 24, 2015 3:49 AM in response to Bmachineby Cableguy1975,I have exactly the same thing. Worst of all is that I backupped my iMovie 10.0.5 library, did a clean OSX install (Mavericks, which I like!) and now I cannot use the iMovie library anymore, because I now have iMovie 10.0.1. Days, weeks even, of work down the drain, unless Apple makes it possible to download the update to iMovie 10.0.5. I don't want to be forced to Yosemite, no advantages for me there.
Apple: help!

Jan 24, 2015 4:53 AM in response to QuickTimeKirkby Cableguy1975,Hi QuickTimeKirk,
You're mistaken there. I have 10.0.1 on Mavericks (check image below).
The last version available for Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9 and later) is version 10.0.5 (but not available anymore, that's the problem).

What eventually worked for me:
- Delete iMovie in the Applications folder
- Do all OS X (Mavericks) related updates in App Store
- Restart
- Go to App Store and download iMovie. You'll get a message that version 10.0.6 is only available for Yosemite, but you can install the latest version for your OS. Choose to download and install. And then...
