Books in iBooks on MacBook, iPad but not on iPhone

I have download 5 Harry Potter books from PottermoreShop and they have gone into my iBooks App on my MacBook Air. They are also on my iPad Air. When I open iBook on my iPhone 6 Plus its only show the first purchase, which was book 1 - 3 . I don't know how to get 4 & 5 to show and read on my iPhone. They were purchased awhile ago. I will admit I never read books on my iPhone. I had a situation recently that I thought I would continue reading the book I have been reading on my iPad on my iPhone, and was surprised it was not there. What am I doing wrong? With all the update recently, I haven't plugged my iPhone and or iPad into my computer to sync with iTunes for some time. I though that is what iCloud was for. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how I have 3 of the 5 books from the potter more shop, on my iPhone. I did notice that if you right click on any other book from iBooks and click the "share" tab you do have options like twitter and email, but when you right click on the Harry Potter books there are "none" options. I did not see a way to download from Pottermorehop.com directly to a device. I will have to do more research on that end. I do have one more question: If I did sync the books using iTunes, to get the books into my iPhone, would at that point would the bookmarks sync with my other devices or just be a stand alone copy of the book?

Thanks for all your help.

The 'sync bookmarks' setting should still work even though they aren't ibooks from iTunes.

The share tab will not let you copy a book between devices, it will only let you, for example, send info about the book e.g. to let other people know what you are reading or what is a good book etc.

If you have them in the iBooks app on your Mac then you should be able to sync them from there to your phone via iTunes - connect the phone, select it in your computer's iTunes, and the books should show on its Books tab for selecting and syncing to the phone.

I did it! You are correct about the bookmark will sync. As it turned out if I go to the Pottermoreshop.com website from my iPhone and use the download direct to your computer, it did download to my iPhone and ask if you want to open in "iBooks". When it finished loading it went right to my bookmark. It has been so long since I have download from that website, I just didn't remember the sequence to do. I'm sorry I troubled you. You have been a big help

Thanks again.
