Ipad Air IOS8.1, blank screen when choosing App Store

Ipad Air with ios8.1 now displays a blank screen when selecting App Store. Blank screen irregardless of selection at the bottom. Have checked settings without resolution. Searching in itunes store provides nothing. As if the the App Store icon is the only thing on my ipad. Would appreciated any suggestions and searching web or apple support does not help.
