How to resolve an updating problem?

I had the same problem! What I got from apple was go to Settings<General<Reset<Reset all settings.

This didn't work for me but maybe it works for you.. If this doesn't work try to restore your iDevice or wipe it.. I had to wipe my iPhone but luckily I had all my info saved in my mac and I got to sync it after...

FFirst thing to try is resetting your phone. Also it would be helpful to know exactly what happens when you try to download or update apps. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the buttons and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
