Yes. I had another Macbook Pro not updated to Yosemite (but running Mavericks). I went to the network, pulled the old version off and put onto my desktop. I renamed it "Preview_Old" and changed its icon (using the get info command) to make it visually different from the new version, and then dropped it in my applications file. From there, if you want to use the old preview to open all pdfs, do this:
1. I clicked "get info" on a pdf document (any document will do)
2. Scroll down to where it says "open with" and click the triangle if the dialog is hidden. You should see a drop down menu.
3. Select "Preview_Old.app version 7.0" (or whatever you name it).
Voila, old preview is back along with new one. So far, no problems. All of the signatures I had show up in the old version, too. Since I just upgraded to Yosemite, mileage may vary, not sure if there is any problem doing this system-wise.
If you don't have another mac to get it from, I'm not sure how to help you. Maybe use a thumb drive and copy it or something. I'm sure there is a way to get it from an install DVD or maybe even time machine if you know what you are doing. (I don't.)
Hope this helps.
This is not possibel unless you revert back to the previous OS X
No.
