WON´T UPDATE OR RESTORE IPOD IN ITUNES 7 !! HELP !!

mine is doing the same and cannot find anyway of fixing it... help

i have downloaded that and the problem still occurs... anything else that can be done?

does the ipod stay connected if you put her into disk mode first?

no. it still ejects and will not update... anything else that can be done ... cheers

hmmmmmm.

it might be worth quickly checking on the issue from this document:

iTunes for Windows: iTunes 7 doesn't recognize iPod

(my diffidence here is because it's a fairly new issue, and i don't have a good feel for the "symptom sets" associated with it ... still, it does no harm to check.)
