iPhone 6 not charging (hit or miss charging)

So for the last few days I've had issues where I go to bed at night with my phone at something like 27% and I put it on the charger to charge overnight... Then when I wake up the next morning, it is at 24% or something, almost as if it wasn't even charging.

After I thought this was an issue, I would monitor the charging moreso, in different outlets, with different chords, and sometimes when I plug it in to charge, it will start for a while, then stop, or charge all the way. Or sometimes I will plug it in and it wont charge at all. The charge icon shows up next to the battery, but the percentage doesn't even move.

I've tried hard resetting and restoring my phone (but I've only restored from a backup, because I have had sensitive data on my phone inside apps (like school schedules and etc that I have spent hours planning and mapping out, that I want to carry over to the next rendition)

Would anyone have any more suggestions as to what I should do?

Hello there wmero1,

Since you are having trouble charging your phone, I would use the troubleshooting in the following article you haven't done.

If you can’t charge your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the battery doesn’t charge, unplug your device and try these steps:

Look at the connector at the bottom of your device and make sure it’s free of debris.

If you're using a USB power adapter, make sure it's plugged in all the way and the power outlet is working. If you're connecting to a computer, make sure it's on and can charge your device. To charge an iPad, you might need to use a USB power adapter and plug into a power outlet.

Try a different USB cable, USB power adapter, or USB port.

If everything seems to be working, reconnect your device and wait for 30 minutes.

If your device still doesn’t charge, try to restart it while it's connected to power. If you can't restart, reset your device.

If your device still doesn't charge or you still see an alert after trying the steps above, contact Apple Support.
