Q: Video Stutters when using External Monitor

Hello All,

Just bought an HP Pavilion bw 25'' for using with FCE and Motion. It is 1920x1080p...

My footage is 1920x1080i and I'm connecting via HDMI.

MBP 2008 has a DVI port and I have a cable that converts from DVI to HDMI.

Can't remember now if its when mirroring is checked or not but the video doesn't play smoothly on the HP monitor.

I'm using the "scaled" option in Monitor prefs.
