Have purchased an iPhone 3G 16GB still sealed Its serial no is A1332 which corresponds with iPhone 4 This should be A1241 Can anyone tell me if this is an original model or not?
A1332 is indeed an iPhone 4. Please check: Settings - General - About - Model = ??

Why do you believe this is an iPhone 3G, as opposed to an iPhone 4 as indicated?

ALL of the websites I have checked the Model Number with are telling me that the Model Number you gave (Model A1332) is a iPhone 4.
