Highest Safari version for Mac OX 10.5.8 ?
My current Safari version on this MAC is 4.0.2 - this Power Mac is at its highest possible OS, but am I able to update my Safari higher than 4.0.2? If so, to what?
Thanks.

It can be updated to 5.0.6. Click here or run the Software Update pane of System Preferences.

Not on a PowerMac. You are running the highest version of OS X that works with PPC machines. To upgrade from where you are requires buying newer hardware that runs the Intel processors.
This thread is about updating Safari, not Mac OS X.

Thanks Niel !!
Hmmm - Niel responded that I could upgrade to 5.0.6, which I went ahead and did before I saw your post, and it downloaded and seems be be working OK. I realize I need a whole new upgrade of hardware to keep up with today's browser demands, but while I DO have a Macbook Pro running on Mavericks, this ol' PowerMac is my main workhorse and the best I can do for a desktop right now. Hopefully this 5.0.6 upgrade will help get me through sme sluggish browsing.
Thanks for all your inputs.
Dan.
