I've got an iPad Air 2 with a Verizon SIM in it but I have not yet set up cellular data. In fact I have cellular data turned off. Why does it keep asking me if I want to set up cellular data? In fact it told me if I wanted it to stop asking to turn cellular data off in Settings - and it's already off!

Pull out the SIM and see what happens ...
Didn't change anything.
Had the same problem and turned off "use cellular data" in each app - so far no more popups.
Try airplane mode and then turn on Wi Fi and bluetooth if you need them

edited to add: it worked for a week and now the popup has come back even with airplane mode on.
this never happens w my ipad mini1 cellular. Ohwell.
Stop asking me to set up cellular data!
