Install jdk 1.8.0_25

hi,

i install the dog file of jdk 1.8.0_25 from oracle website. If i go the system preferences i see the jdk 1.8 installed in browser. But if i go to thermal and java -version i see the old version 1.6

I try to install javaForOSX2014-001.dmg but if i go to terminal the version is 1.6

I need jdk 1.8 to install eclipse

Please i already spent much time to do this.
