IMac Retina Windows Support Software

Hey guys,

im trying to install the drivers for windows 8.1 on the new Imac Retina. (all updated 3,5 Ghz and 295x)

Windows is already installed and works fine, just the drivers are missing.

The problem is, that the download for the drivers does not work in the "bootcamp assistant".

It always stops working after a quarter and says that the "support software could not be installed on the chosen drive". ( freely translated 😉 not working with english version)

I tried different drives (5! USB/SD/HDD) with different formats (exFAT and FAT) but nothing worked, always the same.

It seems like u have to download the support software via the Assistent for the latest IMac retina.

The 5.1 version from the apple homepage does not work 😟

On the Apple Homepage they say u have to install via BCA.

Boot Camp: System requirements for Microsoft Windows ...

Somebody got an idea?
