Jan 27, 2015 9:51 PM in response to gunayby Edgard Matos,I updated to ios 8.1.3 today and despite what another user has posted, this issue has not been resolved for me. I am using Facetime on my iPhone 6 plus running ios 8.1.3 and I'm mirroring it using an Apple Lightening-HDMI connector to my TV. Although the orientation reflects properly on my iPhone's screen, the TV's orientation is incorrect when turning the phone to landscape. Am I missing something? Am I the only one having this specific issue?

Jan 30, 2015 1:11 AM in response to donbergenby gunay,Sorry for misleading. It actually doesn't work for me either. after the update I started mirroring the facetime app in landscape and it was fine but last night I realised the screen flips as soon as I call someone.

Feb 7, 2015 12:49 PM in response to gunayby Bill Nelson,so we're all clear, the latest update did NOT fix this very irritating phenomenon. My laptop works fine for landscape FaceTime interaction, but my iPhone no longer serves for that purpose. 1st World Problem, I know - but this issue deserves some Apple love...

Feb 13, 2015 5:03 PM in response to donbergenby georgedyke,+1 for a fix to this annoying problem. iPhone 6+ won't rotate into landscape. As someone else mentioned, when you start FaceTime its in Landscape and correct, but as soon as you call the orientation on the screen goes portrait, but inside the portrait the image is still Landscape. So the call is basically sideways! Someone's missing a -1 in a rotation matrix and/or orientation switch somewhere! Fix would be great.

Feb 17, 2015 5:10 PM in response to donbergenby bj2007,I have this same issue with 8.1.3 on iPhone 6 and AppleTV3 with the latest release.
Disappointed with Apple and their bugs. They introduce some issue or the other issue every time they update Apple TV. Yosemite had the "crash to login screen" bug that they fixed in the latest update. iOS still has major issues.
Frankly my Windows 7 machine is a lot more stable than Mac OS or iOS. I have started to appreciate Microsoft a lot more after I bought my MacBook Air a few months ago.

Mar 6, 2015 10:57 AM in response to sochanusby RLRPC,We have experienced the same problem.
5th Gen iPod Touch + ATV3 (all on the latest iOS at time of this post) and AirPlay will not rotate to match iPod Touch.
ATV3 is stuck in Portrait and I cannot do a thing about it. Was not a problem during iOS 7 era. Close it back up, Apple.

Mar 22, 2015 2:31 PM in response to whatthewhatisthatby Soulus,I have this issue on certain apps, my brother is on 8.1 and doesn't have an issue at all with orientation on an iPhone 6 plus, where as I have the issue when the phone is turned on its side my image is horizontal on its side on my TV and not going landscape, it's really bugging me that his works and mine doesn't, I'm on 8.1.2

Mar 29, 2015 6:38 AM in response to whatthewhatisthatby MustangBurnOut,Same here, the rotate remains at Portrait position not landscape. Upgraded all devices to the latest IOS release, the issue remains unsolved. Can someone bring this issue to apple technical support?
