Q: grey screen displayed at startup then powers off

When I turn on my Mac a grey loading screen is displayed but then it powers off. I want to turn it on or figure out a way to bypass this without losing anything saved on the computer.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012)

Hey taylorkl,

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the Mac is not fully starting up. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.
