inline-block rendering issue on a specific Mac

I have run into a really strange problem. I do web application development and I have an app that uses inline-block. On one particular Mac (a MacBook Pro Retina 15, OS X 10.10, but I saw it with 10.9, too) the elements using inline-block display incorrectly. There may be other styles that are wrong, but the one I have found is inline-block. The really weird thing is it is broken the same way in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. I'm at a loss to explain how the same problem could show up in browsers with different rendering engines. It's obviously something to do with this specific Mac. I'm guessing I install something that tweaked a system-wide setting. No idea how to start tracking it down.

Has anyone ever run across such a thing? Again, it's specific to one Mac but spans browser rendering engines.

Try running this program in your normal account, then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy Report” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
