Safari Error Message

I keep getting an error message on my safari browser from www.online-protection.org saying "Your Email Account has been temporarily suspended due to suspicious Activity. Please call Microsoft Help Line +1-888-283-5495" I try to close out the browser and reopen it and this website keeps popping up and locking me out. When the website with error message is open, my browser doesn't allow me to reset anything (like clear history/cache/etc.) How can I reset my safari so that this page doesn't automatically pop up so I can use my Safari again. I recently downloaded OS X Yosemite and my Safari is version 7.1. I don't have any new Microsoft products nor do I have a Microsoft email account. That number isn't linked with Microsoft either.

I Just had this same problem this morning. I found instructions from another website to fix it. I'm not having problems anymore.

"I had a pop up window saying my email had been suspended and if was a loop I couldn't get out of. I called the number and asked what company I was calling and they said Microsoft. I asked Ilwhy I would need to talk to Microsoft about my email being suspended and then he corrected himself and said he works at Windows. I have a Mac so knew it was a scam. The best way I was able to get rid of it was to force quit safari, turn off wifi and hold the shift key when reopening safari. I erased my history right away and now my computer works like it did before."
